Standing Together for Transparency, Fairness, and a Better Community
We are working on putting together a comprehensive analysis of the financials and will share the results and interpretations of the analysis with anyone enrolled in the directory. Feel free to share this and the results with any of our community members.

Why We’re Here
As members of The Trails of West Frisco HOA, we should believe in fostering open communication, transparency, and collaboration to ensure our neighborhood thrives. However, recent actions by the HOA—such as removing members’ ability to communicate on the TownSq app—have made it harder for us to connect, organize, and share concerns.
This website exists to provide a central hub for information, updates, and community action to hold our Board Members accountable. Together, we can ensure that every voice is heard, and the HOA is held accountable to its members. It is alarming that instead of increasing transparency in the face of being asked tough questions, the Board has decided to shut down communication and even eliminate some of our communication methods.
What Happened?
The HOA has recently disabled the TownSq app's communication tools (1/24/25), effectively silencing our ability to share ideas, raise concerns, and organize. This action limits transparency and undermines the spirit of community involvement.
We believe this decision was likely made to prevent members from coming together to discuss issues, propose changes, and hold leadership accountable.
Why This Matters
Transparency
Open communication is essential for trust between the HOA Board and members. Without it, decisions affecting all of us are made behind closed doors.
Accountability
HOA leadership is elected to serve the community, not to stifle discussion. Removing communication tools makes it harder for members to address unfair policies or enforcement.
Community Strength
We are stronger when we work together, and restricting communication weakens our ability to organize and advocate for positive change.
How You Can Get Involved
We are working on a comprehensive analysis of the HOA's financials and spending. We will share this analysis with everyone who enrolls in our directory. This will help us to identify areas where the HOA can be more transparent and accountable.
By joining our directory, you can stay up-to-date on the latest developments and receive important information about the HOA. We will also use the directory to communicate with members about upcoming meetings, events, and important aspects of our community.
